Big Soft Vanilla Sugar Cookies

Steps

  1. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder; set aside.
  2. Beat butter and vanilla until creamy. Add sugar and beat on high until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Whisk together oil, eggs, and corn syrup until well blended; mix into butter and sugar mixture until smooth, light, and fluffy.
  4. Reduce speed to low and gradually stir in flour mixture.
  5. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
  7. Use an ice cream scoop or two spoons to create even-sized cookies. Bake for 16-20 minutes.
