Peanut Butter Kisses

Notes
- Try baking at 350 °F.
- Light-colored pans with (fresh) parchment paper work fine.

4 dozen cookies.
Notes
- For cookies with Hershey’s Kisses, roll 3/4” balls.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200 g) packed brown sugar
- 1 cup (240 mL) butter
- 1 cup (240 mL) peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups (420 g) sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 11-ounce package Hershey’s Kisses
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 °F.
- Cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to Jif mixture. Beat well.
- Shape into 1-inch balls (weighing ~28 g each); roll in additional granulated sugar.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in 375 °F oven for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Press a Kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
- Return to oven; bake 3 minutes longer.
